Russian hacks cook an egg with two mobiles

Eggstraordinary pics of the day
A STORY in which two Russian hacks claim to have managed to hardboil an egg by placing it between two mobile phones is circulating on the World Wide Wibble.

While we are fairly certain that the yarn is a leg-pull, the pictures for the test do seem to depict journalists and their research standards quite well.

The test was conducted by placing two hacks mobile phones in fag packets with the egg in the middle. The result was the egg was cooked in just over an hour, according to the story, here in Russian.

We do not recommend you try this test at home. Mostly because you will find out that it is not true and that would kill off what would otherwise be a good yarn.

It is covered in English here. µ
