    (IANS)

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the seventh edition of the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD) in April, WAM news agency reported Sunday.

The three-day event will start April 4 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, organisers said.

The event will attract doctors, researchers and industry professionals from sectors like medicine, pharmacology, logistics and transport.

The participants will deliberate on the humanitarian work that has become indispensable in the light of violence and natural disasters that affect millions of people in the world today.

The conference has succeeded in attracting world's key humanitarian executives and leaders to Dubai to share their expertise, the organisers said.
