Officials at Reagan National Airport reopened a terminal on Sunday that had been closed after a broken pipe caused flooding.
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said the flooding had occurred in a baggage claim area, where it was ankle deep.
The terminal was opened again on Sunday morning but not before many US Airways flights had to be cancelled.
